Skjoldrheinn: The Clan has been known as a haven for base treachury of ones people. The failed unifier, Tyr Hymirsson left the exiled deserts in search of others who would join him in his quest for vengance against the demon whore and her city of false promises. These were the words he spoke in earnest as his woman, a Vanir stood beside him. Several aesir gathered and as one, agreed to follow him back. During the quest through the mountains back, the leader of these Aesir called Tyr out. Stuck within the canyon wall’s and so close to his goal he had accepted if only to get rid of his rival. The move was folly as almost every Aesir, even those who once followed him raised up and attacked those few who stood behind his treason. His and his womans head were taken and displayed along with the Vanir and traitors to their people. The newly crowned Kohnr of the Aesir gathered faced his people with his foes head placed against his shield. Tyr and Freyja’s heads were marched past the scalding salt pools, stripped of flesh and kept as clan artifacts. Proof of a simple concept, with each skull a large rune marking their race put upon it. The mingling of enemies can only lead to death of ones self. This lesson was the first of many emplaced upon the rebirrthed Skjoldrheinn. They did march south as orginally needed, but with the basic goals of any Nordheimer in mind. Plunder, raiding, the Promise of Death in Battle, and in the Aesir’s case, the Promise to explore and best the worst the world has to offer. To gain one’s place in a Saga, told by Bards all over the world. True to ones people, one’s oathes, one’s faith. These were the Oaths of the Skjoldrheinn, the Shield Stone of the Aesir.
